funny

I would like to take a moment to sum this up for all to see regarding a few recent posts I have made to see if you find the humor in them as I have in my own recollection of posting them…

  1. Quote from March 31, 2008 Post: "And, today marks my fourth day of not eating chocolate and only having minimal (1 or 2 per day) sweets."
  2. Quote from May 7, 2008 Post: Well I don't even need to give a quote considering the post is titled, "Milka". In case you don't know, Milka is chocolate…yeah, enough said. But here is the quote that would probably work, "Anyway, I was munching on some [milka] that my sister was so gracious to share with me and I just wanted to share with you how much I enjoy it."
  3. And quote from May 9, 2008 Post: "I decided it had gone too far, seriously, the waist line and the laziness…today marks the end of the first week that I have had a consistent gym schedule in about 252 days! We worked out 4 times this week and it has felt so good!"

Ok so obviously that no chocolate thing did not last and my tiny desire for chocolate has gotten me into some trouble. J

Part of the reason I go to the gym is so that I can enjoy little treats like Milka or nachos or pizza or Doritos or ice cream.

Oh please, as if the list can stop there, it really gets quite long…large popcorn at the movie theatre, licorice, Pepsi, cranberry-lime slushes at Sonic, chocolate chip cookies, Reese's PB cups or pieces, potato chips, French fries, bacon cheeseburgers, nachos, Oreo cookies, brownies, ice cream, milkshakes, cheesecake, hot wings, nachos, oh I should really stop or Josh is going to have to cook me quite the feast tonight!

Yes, I know I listed a few things multiple times.

I just thoroughly enjoy foods that are bad for me. I'm not going to lie. In the meantime, I will feel slightly less guilty for consuming these foods because I am working out and burning like 1/8 of the calories that I eat.

Oh and that large popcorn at the movie theatre, it's all mine. I am a glutton for popcorn. At home I am healthy and air pop it and use pretend butter and lightly salt it and all that wimpy stuff. But at the movie theatre, don't even think I won't order it. Even if we have eaten before we go. Large popcorn and medium cherry coke, please. I like me some popcorn. Sometimes I pop it at home and smuggle take it in my bag to the theatre. If I do make and take it then I will fill two 1-gallon bags and that is almost enough. Ok, I could have done the whole post on my enjoyment of popcorn. J I like me some popcorn! Maybe popcorn is what created my waist line problem.

  1. annie, your blog made me laugh. I too share your love of food. I enjoy working out once I get there but the "getting there" is the hard part.
